The Creator Manual License Policy

Applies to purchases and visits on The Creator Manual.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Licence granted, not ownership transferred

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, buying a product from The Creator Manual grants a limited licence to use it; it does not transfer copyright, trademark, source ownership, or other intellectual-property rights.

The product page, selected licence tier, receipt, delivered terms, and the incorporated 3DIMLI License Policy form the applicable licence.

2. Permitted use and restrictions

  • Use the product only for the people, projects, organisations, territories, media, and commercial purposes allowed by the purchased licence.
  • Do not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, publish source files, remove ownership notices, or provide the product as a competing asset unless the licence expressly permits it.
  • Do not use a product unlawfully, to infringe rights, or in violation of the 3DIMLI Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Open-source, Creative Commons, editorial, software, game, and custom licences may add or replace terms where clearly disclosed.

3. Ownership, proof, and termination

The Creator Manual or the identified creator/licensor retains ownership. Keep the order and licence record as proof of the rights purchased.

A material licence breach may terminate access and require you to stop using and delete the product, subject to applicable law. A refund does not preserve the licence or access rights.

For licence questions, contact store support before using the product beyond the clearly stated scope.

4. Licence scope and seats

The selected licence determines the permitted user or seat count, projects, clients, organisations, territories, media, distribution, audience, revenue, and commercial use. Rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

A licence for one person, organisation, project, or end product may not be shared across additional users, affiliates, clients, projects, or products unless the selected tier expressly permits that scope.

5. Modifications and incorporated products

You may modify a product only to the extent allowed by the applicable licence. Permission to modify does not transfer ownership and does not permit distribution of source files, extractable assets, templates, keys, or substantially equivalent competing products.

If a product contains third-party, open-source, Creative Commons, font, music, software, or editorial material, the identified third-party terms govern that component and may impose attribution, field-of-use, or redistribution conditions.

6. Prohibited and high-risk uses

  • Do not use the product to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • Do not remove ownership or licence notices, defeat technical controls, misrepresent authorship, or enable unlicensed access.
  • Do not use editorial-only content commercially or use a product in a regulated, safety-critical, deceptive, or unlawful context unless expressly authorised and independently reviewed.
  • Do not use source assets to train, benchmark, or supply a competing dataset or generative system unless the licence expressly grants that right.

7. Compliance, remedies, and questions

You are responsible for keeping reasonable records of the purchased licence and ensuring that employees, contractors, clients, and other permitted users comply with it. The rights holder may request reasonable evidence of compliance where misuse is credibly suspected.

Unauthorised use may lead to access suspension, licence termination, removal of infringing material, and other remedies available by law. Cure, notice, refund, and consumer rights continue where mandatory law requires them.

Ask store support for written clarification before relying on a use not clearly covered.
